Captain America is a ferocious and proud patriot, who dislikes not only the World Trade Centers but also the United States. The Soviet Union is America’s biggest enemy. Growing up in Brooklyn, USA, Steve Rogers recognizes that he’s going to make a stand against communism. He finds himself in World war 1 once he is enlisted in the military.

A soldier in the Army, Steve Rogers was a bit confused when he found out his uncle Sam was communist. The way he was educated was that everyone in America defends freedom and justice. At a young age, Rogers was made to feel very comfortable being able to share his socialist views among his classmates. His uncle’s political opinions caused him to be very frightened. Rogers was able to change his mind as he watched the Soviet army slaying innocent people.

After the initial attacks are completed, Rogers is ordered into the action again. He is, however, not a skilled combatant as he must depend on additional resources. It includes a powerful serum that was developed by an Chinese scientist. This serum provides him with incredible power, speed and ability. It’s the most potent weapon in its class.

While battling the Red Skull, the first Avenger also has to contend with one of the guns. The team has a number of tanks and guns and one of them is controlled by a huge robotic. However, the hero manages to defeat the gigantic tank. It leads to a chase that involves the Red Skull himself. When they finally battle in the end in the end, the Skull gets hit by a machine gun fire, and is severely injured.

In the following issue it is revealed that Rogers and the military are still on the run in the aftermath of the Skull escapes custody. Rogers threatens to close the US Air Force base unless the troops surrender. Then, he makes an edgy escape to the base along with a few troops. But, Rogers faces several obstacles in getting through to safety and escape, one of which is a huge explosion that kills the majority of the camp.

It’s worth reading the very first tale of an avenger. It’s exciting and engaging, with many unexpected twists. It doesn’t sacrifice its value and worthwhile to read even if the last issues have not been previously read. I would definitely recommend this publication to any fan of comics with a superhero theme. This is a great book for those who are new to comics or hasn’t been reading much in the past few years.
